How do the Dutch manage the tension between the traditional values and practices of heritage conservation and the creative reuse or repurposing of a building or a site?

Join us to find out from urban planner Jean-Paul Corten from the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands and Sjoerd Marijnissen, Architect at Braaksma & Roos Architectenbureau.

Jean-Paul Corten will talk us through the Dutch approach to the global challenge of urban regeneration whilst Sjoerd Marijnissen will discuss using a building’s identity and heritage story as an inspiration for adaptive reuse.
