This winter, descend into our basement playground for a sensory gin adventure to warm the spirit…

Gather around the fire pit with globetrotting bartender, Eoin Kenny and Mitch Gurrin from Archie Rose Distilling Co., as they delve deep into the history books to resurrect an intriguing tradition – gin-based cocktails, heated with a red hot poker!

Otherwise known as a ‘loggerhead’, this instrument was crafted by blacksmiths and designed to be plunged straight from the burning flames and into the alcohol, caramelising the sugars, heating the liquid and creating a myriad of deliciously warming aromas.

Guests will enjoy a hot G&T on arrival, followed by your choice of drink from a curated menu of eight heated classics, and of course…a little history lesson from our gin masters.

Expect theatre, flames and an explosion of flavour, as you indulge in a cosy courtyard cocktail experience complete with heaters and hot water bottles. Spicy snacks will also be available for purchase.
