A Collaborative Journey of Discovery – Cape Arid Rooms

After 18 months of research and consultation with distillers (Esperance Distillery Co), botanists, Teassential and the artists themselves, we are delighted to unveil an evolution of the Cape Arid Rooms concept with our specially curated Horizon Gin and a range of Cape Arid Tea Blends.
Distilled by the Esperance Distillery Co. the gin reflects a regional expression of Cape Arid. Eight delicious iterations using specific combinations of indigenous botanicals were developed before settling on the blend that became Horizon Gin. The four distinctly different Cape Arid tea blends were curated in collaboration with master blender David Levi of Perth’s Teassential and represent the vegetation and characteristics of the Cape Arid locations which inspired Philippa and Alex Nikulinsky.
