Inspired by the hard work of local producers, Head Chef Jesse Blake’s passion for fresh food has culminated in an assortment of rustic, quirky and fun dishes meant to share, or simply enjoy solo.

Start the day with house-made pastries, smoothies and breakfast that mixes with the rush of the working city folk. Relax through a weekend brunch menu and artisanal coffee, settle in for a real lunch, the European way, served in the warmth of Barrack Street’s sunshine that pours through the west facing windows, or get serious with a great dinner in the moody history of the space.

Petition Head Chef, Jesse Blake developed his unique and exacting style working in acclaimed restaurants from New Zealand to Melbourne. Given the Petition space to work with, he signed up immediately.
