Artist Afternoon with Philippa Nikulinsky
Philippa and Alex Nikulinsky’s cherished Cape Arid collection has adorned the walls of COMO The Treasury since the doors opened in 2015.
This extensive portfolio features 91 individual works depicting the wild Western Australian landscape – a captivating record of their adventures to the deep southern Cape Arid National Park, located 731 kilometres south-east of Perth Point Zero.
This October, we invite you to join us for an intimate exploration revealing how this incredible collection came to life, with one half of the exceptional artist duo, Philippa Nikulinsky.
Your tour begins in the Cape Arid Rooms with a visual foray into the joy and wonder of the Western Australian bush, accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine. Following this prelude, guests will journey upstairs to the COMO Guest Library for a private viewing of 33 watercolour vignettes – an intricate and fascinating study of the region’s native flora and fauna. After the tour, guests will join Philippa downstairs in our home of indulgence for the exquisite Hill Springs edition of the Cape Arid afternoon tea, accompanied by a signature cocktail, tea and coffee.
Please note: we can only cater to a gluten-free or vegetarian dietary requirement at the event – kindly make this request when securing your booking.
