About the role
The Bar Manager is responsible for the daily and weekly management of the bar, operations and leadership of the bar team, ensuring the highest standards of beverage and experience is provided to guests.
Duties
We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team at Long Chim and work to the direction of the Venue Manager. You will be passionate about hospitality and providing guests with an exceptional experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement, review and maintain Long Chim’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow up on day-to-day operational duties of the bar.
- Develop your team professionally & maintain a healthy work environment.
- Managing the beverage offering to an exceptionally high standard, including quality control, ordering, budgets and stocktaking.
- You will inspire and encourage the team to achieve a high level of experience for guests and deliver a consistent premium product.
- Ensure the team are knowledgeable, professional & engaging whilst keeping up to date with VIP guest profiles and movements, events, local attractions and activities.
- Encourage menu development from your team to ensure a collaborative menu.
