About the business

It was a wise Italian who once said, ‘A tavola non si invecchia’ — one does not grow old at the table.

We too believe the pleasures of good food, good wine, and good company are such that they remain suspended in time — a joy forever.

It’s with this philosophy, and warm conviviality, that we invite you to join the team at Post Osteria & Bar to discover something both timeless, and unexpected.

Sharing the tastes, tales and traditions of Italy, Executive Chef Kim Brennan’s menu nods to European simplicity — deeply appealing food and flavours, realised with the highest quality of local produce.

What was once the franking room of the city’s General Post Office, today breathes new life as a relaxed place to linger over coffee, settle in for a long lunch, or draw the day’s curtains with a night cap at the bar.
