Indigenous Communities Stories: Films from Western Australia
Bigali Hanlon, a Yindjibarndi woman born at Mulga Downs, was taken from her mother at the age of six and sent to Sister Kate’s. She lived there until she was 13 when she went into indentured domestic service.
Her story celebrates the remarkable journey which reconnected Bigali with her family.
Her daughter Michelle Broun will speak after the film.
Everybody welcome. Proudly supported by Gilbert & Tobin.
