Chef Amanda Gale – Director of Culinary at COMO Hotels and Resorts
Amanda Gale was born in Sydney, Australia. She began her training under the guidance of some of Australia’s most talented chefs, including Neil Perry of Rockpool. Amanda left Australia in 2000 to take on the Executive Chef role at COMO Parrot Cay, where she began developing COMO Shambhala Cuisine.
Amanda moved to Bangkok in 2003, as part of the COMO Metropolitan Bangkok team before taking on the role as Group Executive Chef of COMO Hotels and Resorts in 2005. In this capacity, Amanda was responsible for the cuisine across COMO properties in Bali, Bhutan, Thailand, London and the Maldives. Using her experience over 15 years, Amanda helped to develop, write up and publish the COMO Shambhala Cuisine cookbook, ‘The Pleasures of Eating Well’ (2016).


Stephanie Johnson – Yoga Teacher
Stephanie Johnson started yoga when she was 16 and immediately fell in love with how yoga made her feel an incredible strength in her body as well as a deep sense of peace. In 2014, she committed to exploring these ancient teachings and with each practice, she becomes more passionate about sharing yoga’s profound transformational benefits.
Stephanie Johnson is a 500hr Yoga Australia Tamara Yoga ISHTA Teacher. Starting with the 350hr Tamara Yoga ISHTA training with Yogiraj Tamara Graham, Stephanie has since gone on to undertake specialty training and workshops in ISHTA Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga Psychology for Mental Health.
Rosanna Susanto – Yoga Instructor
After a career in law, Rosanna soon shifted her practice to the yoga mat with the hopes of instilling the joy of yoga in all. In addition to her training obtained through Radiantly Alive in Bali, Laughing Lotus NYC, Mindful Birth for Pregnancy Yoga, Post Natal Yoga and Yoga for Active Birth, Rosanna has become attuned as a Reiki Level 1 practitioner.
Chris Wilson – Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach
Chris Wilson moved to Perth from the UK in 2012 after working at the world-famous Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, England for the Duke of Richmond. He has been a trainer for 15 years and has many clients and corporate organisations from all over Perth and Australia. Chris has a BSc in Sport and Physical Education and worked in professional sport with the Wales national rugby team. In 2021, Wilson opened two fitness studios in Perth which were named ‘Australia’s most exclusive studios’ in Men’s Health.
