Hot Chim Terrace
Introducing – HOT CHIM TERRACE 2024.
Award-winning Bartenders Matt Bodycote (State Buildings Bar Operations Manager) and Mitch Gurrin (Archie Rose Distilling Co.) have teamed up for a brand new instalment of everyone’s favourite winter warmer.
Building upon the outstanding success of Hot Gin Terrace over the last 3 years, Hot Chim Terrace introduces a completely fresh cocktail list featuring some of the best spirits on offer from Archie Rose Distilling Co.
Inspired by the winter fairs of olde, specially forged instruments crafted by blacksmiths (known as ‘loggerheads’) were plunged from the hot coals into your cocktail, a 400 year ole tradition all but lost…until now!
Archie Rose Distilling Co. have replicated the loggerheads to sizzle and steam our creations to produce a myriad of flavours like nothing else.
Descend into the depths of the State Buildings and enter Long Chim’s courtyard as we gather around the fire pit and sling special release concoctions, all served hot and heated with a red hot poker – a night sure to warm the cockles in deepest mid-winter. Leave your jacket at the door as we rug you up with blankets by the fire to keep you warm and toasty whilst you imbibe.
Your ticket includes our infamous hot Gin & Tonic on arrival, followed by your choice of a signature hot cocktail from the list, alongside plenty of flames and our favourite cocktail stories along the way.
Thai snacks and Archie Rose bottle sales will also be available for purchase on the night.
