This winter, following on from the success of last year’s Hot Gin Terrace, our State Buildings Beverage Manager, Eoin Kenny has once again teamed up with Mitch Gurrin from Archie Rose Distilling Co., for a sensory gin adventure to warm the spirit.

Descend into our basement playground and gather around the fire pit for gin-based cocktails, heated with a red hot poker!

Inspired by an intriguing tradition from the history books, specially forged instruments crafted by blacksmiths otherwise known as a ‘loggerhead’ are plunged straight from the burning flames and into the alcohol, caramelising the sugars, causing the cocktail to bubble and steam, and creating a myriad of deliciously warming aromas.

This indulgent cosy courtyard cocktail experience comes complete with heaters and hot water bottles to keep you warm and toasty.

Ticket includes a hot G&T on arrival, followed by your choice of a signature hot gin cocktail. Spicy snacks will also be available for purchase.
