Christmas at State Buildings is made for good company, generous tables and a little licence to celebrate. From Beer Corner and Wine Merchant to Long Chim, Wildflower and Postal Hall, each of our spaces brings its own character, kitchen and atmosphere. Whether you're gathering eight friends or the whole company, there's a room shaped around the people you're bringing together.|

The first choice is how you'd like the night to feel. A seated function brings everyone to the table for a shared menu, good wine and the kind of conversation that runs long, ideal for speeches, milestones and giving thanks. A cocktail function keeps the room moving, with canapés and drinks circulating while guests mingle, and suits larger groups who'd rather catch up with everyone than settle in with a few.

Seated functions can be held in one of our private dining rooms, a reserved section of a venue, or with the whole space to yourselves. Cocktail functions work best in a reserved section or with exclusive use, and The Mark and Cape Arid Rooms can host both.
