In collaboration with St George’s Cathedral, State Makers 2024 is proud to present ‘Let The Soul Soar’ – this winter’s classical music fundraising extravaganza in aid of the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

This is one not to miss!

Grab your tickets quickly for this one-off benefit concert on Friday 14 June, 7pm at St George’s Cathedral.

In the magnificence of Perth’s Anglican Cathedral, this uplifting and beautiful evening of entertainment will lift the soul as concert-goers will be immersed in a world of beauty and peace.

In addition to your ticket, if you’d like to make an additional tax-deductible donation to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal (in partnership with Rotary Australia World Community Services and Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations), go to ukrainecrisisappeal.org and put ‘SGC14JUNEMED’ as a reference, or use the QR code.

The Best Local Talent

World-class Perth musicians – and everyone involved – are giving their time freely to support the provision of urgent medical needs, including ambulances and life-saving equipment, for Ukraine via our well-established charity partners at the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

This benefit concert includes some of the most beautiful Ukrainian choral and instrumental compositions as well as pieces from a wider classical repertoire including the Australian premiere of the exquisite, ‘Prayer for Ukraine – Lord, protect our Ukraine’ by Valentin Silvestrov. Also on the program is the classic composition, ‘Bozhe Velyky (Our Almighty Lord)’ by the father of Ukrainian music, Mykola Lysenko.

More artists coming onboard all the time for charity

Confirmed artists include Emma Matthews (soprano), Paul O’Neill (tenor), Sara Macliver (soprano), Marilyn Phillips (piano), Stewart Smith (organ), Paul Wright (violin), Fremantle Chamber Orchestra with Michael Howell (flute) and William Nichols (harp), Ruth Burke (mezzo soprano), Benjamin Del Borrello (baritone), Devon Lake (baritone), Lydia Lai (piano), and the Giovanni Consort.

For only $65 per ticket, patrons are able to be up close and personal with Perth’s top talent in the spectacular setting of St George’s Cathedral all the time supporting the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Interval drinks for sale are generously sponsored by a premium Margaret River winery soon to be announced.

This concert is the brainchild of Australian-Ukrainian, Diana Teplyj and is the largest and most ambitious of the four concerts she has organised to help the people of Ukraine.

And there’s more…

As if the concert is not enough, ticketholders can head down to Petition in the State Buildings for a pre-concert meal at 5.30pm and enjoy a free glass of wine with their main course. Reservations are required and you’ll need to show your ticket.

And FINALLY…

COMO The Treasury is offering 20% off the Best Available Rates for the night of the 14 June as well as complimentary valet parking. Why not make a night of it?
